Davis David is the CEO & Data scientist at ParrotAI with a multidisciplinary background in computer science. He is passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data. Davis is the co-organizer and facilitator of different AI meetups, workshops, and events that aim to build a community of Data Scientists and machine learning practitioners in Tanzania. He is also the ambassador of ZindiAfrica in Tanzania.

Tupokigwe Isagah

Tupokigwe Isagah (Ph.D.) is a lecturer at Mzumbe University and Director at ParrotAI. She has a background in Information System design and management. Dr. Isagah is experienced in planning and designing digital technologies for public sectors (GovTech). Her previous research focused on the design and implementation of mobile applications for delivering public services in developing countries. Her current research interest is on the application of Artificial intelligence in public sectors and its governance. Currently, Dr. Isagah is researching the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in Africa to identify enabling requirements such as national strategies, policies, and ethical issues for AI transformation in Africa.

Anthony Faustine

Faustine is a PhD machine learning researcher at IDLab research group of Ghent University since October 2017, advised by Tom Dhaene and Dirk Deschrijver. His research interest lie in the application of machine intelligence for computational sustainability with a focus on statistical-learning, deep-learning, bayesian inference and signal processing. He is currently investigating robust machine learning methods for industrial application

Dina Machuve is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Arusha, Tanzania. She holds a PhD in Information and Communication Science and Engineering from NM-AIST in 2016, and a MS in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University (TTU), USA in 2008 and BSc Electrical Engineering degree from University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in 2001. She co-organizes the Data Science Africa (DSA), an organization that runs an annual data science and machine learning summer school and workshop in Africa. She is a member of a research group on Mechanism Design for Social Good (MDSG). Her research interests are data science, bioinformatics, agriculture informatics on food value chains and STEM education in schools.

Bonface Witaba is multi-disciplinary ICT professional, with a background that includes experience working in: digital inclusion, Internet governance, local content development, and policy research. He is the pioneer of ICANNWiki Swahili, a non-profit encyclopedic website that seeks to translate ICANN and Internet Governance related content into Swahili . Bonface is also a writer with Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) Digital Watch observatory, a Swiss based Internet Governance and Digital Policy Magazine.
